Welcome to The Lilac Broom

                         Hi everyone.  

    What is The Lilac Broom?

My "new" Business venture is called The Lilac Broom.  

Much like when a broom sweeps the dust and dirt of old footsteps, I am ushering in a new and fresh start to my business, including a new name.

For approximately 12 years, I have been providing quality Tarot Card Readings, Oracle Card predictions and Rune-Casting services to my clients.  As an Intuitive and Psychic, I often get strong and powerful impressions of what is to come, particularly while using my prized Divination Tools such as those named previously.  Additionally, I apply my knowledge of Numerology and Astrology to enhance the sessions and give people more to think about.

It has been several years in the making.  But sometimes, when the moment feels right and the message is clear, we must be BRAVE and BOLD and grab the opportunity in front of us!  Grabbing the name, "The Lilac Broom", and seeing doors open once I made my choice, is a good omen (I feel).  I believe in signs.  I believe that they are everywhere and we sometimes allow ourselves to accept the messages from these signs.  

For me, I was feeling quite certain that my friend Erica was "on to something" when she began to match up words and the language came out...Lilac ...  Broom.  It just caused a feeling in me.  The feeling was a mix of nostalgia from this life and the past lives I may have lived.  The smell of lilacs has been my favorite since my early life.  Every Summer, in the earliest days of the summer in New England, the Lilacs would just come to life!  The fragrance would explode in the gardens outside of my home as a child, and then waft upon the breeze and throughout the entire house.  Mom hated when we would pull the blossoms from the tree and bring them inside because the potent smell of Lilacs is overpowering at times.  I enjoyed passing the warm sunny days near the trees and shrubs that housed the blossoms.

As for Brooms...I also love brooms.  I prefer the old fashioned whisk-style brooms that look like something a witch might ride off upon into a murky night sky in late Autumn.  I love the witches!  I am not particularly drawn to the shade of color one might consider as "Lilac", but the fragrance, I am in LOVE WITH.  I like to use brooms for sweeping and cleaning and actually many purposes!  

So this is how the name came to being...my friend Erica saw it from a cluster of words in a list...and it felt right.

I hope you will come back and keep up on my happenings via this blog.  My plan is to use the Blog to show the business growth as more products and ideas are developed.  My long term plan is to have a business that I can operate and earn income from that uses my talents in the areas above.  I love to visit Country Stores and Art Festivals and "Witchy" little magical shops like the ones that line the streets of Salem MA! I love when I enter an establishment and the fragrances are welcoming, the people are hospitable and the products inspirational.  I prefer handmade items, lotions without preservatives and unique things that bring joy to the home and hearth!

Fairy Come Hither to my Gardens!

XOXO" Lilac March 10, 2021 I have NEVER been more excited about getting my gardens started.  That is because last year was out 1ST Springtime here and we were all just learning about Covid and getting our worlds completely turned upside down.  But THIS YEAR...this year we welcome Spring (Ostara for us Witches) with open arms and lots of hope. Yesterday, when the weather hit 50*, it was incredibly windy.  This is quite common here due to our proximity to the ocean.  However, we were able to get some things done...mainly preparing soil beds and removing debris that has blown in and gotten stuck like leaves.  The garden areas are shaping up pretty well for this year's undertaking.   Hi everyone!   Time to go a bit behind the veil and see how the Tarot answers our questions and how it can heal us through that process.  Tomorrow is another portal that happens yearly and so this article is perfectly timed.
