About Me
My actual human name is AngelMarie Carroll and I live in Warwick Rhode Island in the United States. I have lived here for 46 years (aka, my entire life). I am married and I have two children. I attended High School and College here in Rhode Island. I have also worked in Rhode Island, Massachusetts and Connecticut as a Property Manager for Conventional Apartment Communities and the Affordable Housing Communities in all three states. In 2009, after reading "The Secret" by Rhonda Byrne, I began to pursue that which resided deep inside of me...a quiet stirring and a long-silenced voice. I discovered the wisdom and deep spirituality there and made major lifestyle changes.
I had been with my children's father for approximately 14-15 years at that point and unmarried. I decided that I wanted a real marriage and a home and family. I made the changes and then in 2016 I married my current husband. In 2019, we bought a home here in the town where we both grew up- Warwick RI. We still have my two children and did not have any of our own together, however we do have a multitude of fur babies whom we spoil rotten!
The spirit path however, was full of twists and turns that brought me to the place where I am on the "Earth Plane". In other words, just because I appear to have succeeded at accomplishing the common "American Dream" of husband and kids and home and all that, does not mean that it's about the stuff of this world. On the contrary. 
My journey of Spiritual awakening is what brought me to where I am today.
I was delighted when I lived in my 3rd floor walk-up apartment. All of my friends and even my husband saw it as "beneath me". But I loved my space. I have had some CRAPPY jobs in my lifetime and some of them were the best times of my life. Some of my favorite clothes are items that are so old I should throw them out and cannot wear them in public. I guess what I am saying is that TRUE happiness is an inside job (inside of ourselves, like in our hearts). If we feel happy, in our choices and in our lives, then we truly have it all. If we feel HEALTHY and happy...then we absolutely have it all.
But most people do no see the "bigger picture" as I have described it. I call those people "asleep", and those who DO see life as I have described above, as "awake". I read people. I read them without being asked, and I read them when prompted for advice...I do this by Divining Spiritual messages with Tarot Cards and Oracle Cards. Keep these ideas of "asleep" and "awake" in mind when listening to my card readings because that is what I am meaning to express by those two words.
Over the next few weeks I will be creating weekly content for my YouTube page where I am also called Lilac Broom. There will be corresponding information found on my Instagram by the same name: The_Lilac_Broom. For now, these (YouTube and Instagram) plus this blog are the way to stay current on what I am creating and what services will be available. My Content
My YouTube, Instagram and Blog content will follow a pattern as follows:
- Weekly General Card Reading for everyone- posted Sunday evening around 6pm
- Monthly Tarot Card Readings according to 12 Zodiac Signs-posted on last day of previous month by midnight.
- Annual Tarot Card Reading for 12 Zodiac Signs- TBD and available as soon as possible.

My Qualifications
When it comes to Reading Tarot Cards, Angel Cards, Oracle Cards and Rune, training for these comes in different ways. I have received a combination of training, and have taught others how to read these as well. I received a Certification of Angel Card Reading from Ascension Next in East Greenwich RI. I am self-taught at Tarot, Oracle and Runes. I would call myself an expert reader. In 2008, I received my first deck of cards and from there have been reading people all over the place in person and at a distance. Distance does not make it impossible to read a person's cards and so you may live in another state or country and still receive a quality personal reading.
Here are some of the situations I have accurately predicted:
- Dates/Times (not exact minutes, but within a range of days) for events
- Messages from deceased loved ones
- Messages from Archangels/guardian angels
- Changes in jobs and relationships
- Negative outcomes (warnings) and positive outcomes (good news)
- Love and relationships
- When would be the best time to start something new or to wait
Besides my Cards, I use other knowledge to enhance my readings to be as personal and accurate as possible. These include, your personal astrology and that of a loved one; mediumship which means that I channel messages from your loved one or from spirit guides who may not know you personally. Occasionally I will use charms or cards of my own invention or even just some channeled writings. I use crystals and herbs and may recommend certain crystals that you may wish to acquire in order to achieve maximum results. My readings are always a unique experience each time.
